Spirituality and Productivity

To be able to fully understand the significance of spirituality in relation to productivity in the workplace, the first thing a person must do is to learn of his self. Understanding why he is in existence. What he is doing here as a man. And why he needs to do what he is doing every day. Answers to these will open up his views and bring him to a new perspective in life, and eventually create a new paradigm in connection to the experiences being encountered every day.

The spiritual foundation of an individual is a factor on how he faces the different situations of the everyday life. From these situations, an experience is being developed to the individual whether it is good or not. The attitude of the person towards the particular experience he is having will determine whatever his belief about the matter will be. These beliefs will then motivate the individual to act and produce the result that is needed, or the result which the situation may give. The result will then be depending on how the experience impacted the person, hence shows if the person is productive or not.

Various organizations will benefit from having spirituality a part of what they do. This will lessen if not eliminate at all problems that may involve employee to employee, employee to management and vice versa, and even the employee alone. If so, the effect of such will eventually increase productivity since everybody will be focusing on the specific functions they have with fulfillment, excitement and joy. Being motivated by a common cause founded on becoming an ensign or example to everyone they made contact with, and becoming a source of strength to those that might be in need of such.
